The Story of Chichester

CHICHESTER

I have lived in the Chichester area since 2000, first Bosham and now Chidham. A delightful area of the country, I am deeply concerned that the character of its countryside should be securely maintained for the enjoyment of future generations. I am a member of Southbourne Parish Council while I also edit West Sussex History, an annual journal published through West Sussex Records Office. Often, at weekends, you will find me, at some point during the day, exploring our local nature reserve. I particularly enjoy winter and observing the many hundreds of birds that remain here before returning to their summer breeding zones. I also have a vision for the future of Chichester and this can be read on my Chichester political web site: www.philipmacdougall.org.uk
